Engraved "HMC" in conjoined feathered script on top of handle.

Marks

Marked "JR" in Roman capitals in a rectangle two times on back of handle.

Descended in the family to Dr. George Clymer; March 15, 1939 lent by Clymer to MFA; Oct 11, 1956, gift of Mrs. Clymer to MFA.
