Small mug made of sheet silver, soldered below the handle and with disk let in as the bottom, with tapering sides, encircled by two bands of fluting around the body, the top band with four rings and the bottom with five, with applied handle.

Said to have belonged to George Washington; by 1905, Ellen Sarah Sophia Clarke Hammond, Boston (d. 1905), who left it in her will to her husband for use during his lifetime; 1908, bequeathed to the Museum by Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hammond , of Boston (Accession Date June 11, 1908)
