Miniature tankard

The tankard has straight tapering sides; applied bead midband; molded and splayed baseband; and reeded rim. The molded lid has a flange with incised lines; a five-part hinge; a molded scroll thumbpiece; and molded shape drop on shoulder of scroll handle. The interior is washed with gold.

"STERLING / Stone" with profile of an incuse chasing hammer stamped across St, and "H" struck on bottom, near molded edge. "12" struck on both handle and lid where hinge causes them to meet
