Large Boat Vessel

Start collecting

Hand-built, wood-fired vessel, having a square base that supports a narrow form in the shape of a boat. The exterior of the vessel has a coral, shino glaze; interior is golden and brown. Two clay notches below boat tips are nonfunctional.

Marked "RJ" in applied, impressed clay.
