Frog effigy pendant

Cast gold alloy frog effigy pendant. The front legs terminate in rings for suspension on a string. The frog's left leg flange is broken and casting problems resulted in an irregular shape of the right leg flange.

Provenance

With Walter Channing Wyman, Chicago(?), by 1922; to MFA, February 1922, purchased as part of a group of 67 pieces for $5,000.
