Marks

“STERLING” stamped and “S,” incised with profile of incuse chasing hammer stamped across “S,” struck on back of handle.

Provenance

Made for Adelaide Bent (1868 – 1916); by descent to Alma Bent, from whom the Museum purchased the piece.
