Feline (?) effigy pendant

Cast gold and copper feline effigy pendant with four saurian (crocodile?) heads emerging from the side of its body. The remains of a single suspension ring are attached to the back of the neck.

Provenance

With Walter Channing Wyman, Chicago(?), by 1922; to MFA, February 1922, purchased as part of a group of 67 pieces for $5,000.
