Feline effigy bell pendant

Start collecting

Hollow cast gold pendant in the form of a feline. Two suspension rings attached to the bottom of each of the front paws allows for suspension. A gold flap covers most of the feline's underbelly and originally contained a metal tinkler (now lost).

Provenance

With Walter Channing Wyman, Chicago(?), by 1922; to MFA, February 1922, purchased as part of a group of 67 pieces for $5,000.
