Made by a carver of the "Stratford School." Yellow bead eye, light blue bill, black breast and tail with white body. Gray wings on badk finely lined in black to simulate feathers. Also called bluebill, broadbill, or blackhead.

Provenance

Acquired by Maxim Karolik and given to the Museum in 1960.
