Cast gold effigy pendant that resembles an alligator. The upper part of its two front legs are cast as rings that allow for suspension on a string. Casting error on proper right leg. The alligator's head is at the bottom in the photograph.

Provenance

With Walter Channing Wyman, Chicago(?), by 1922; to MFA, February 1922, purchased as part of a group of 67 pieces for $5,000.
