Inscribed in chalk on the side of the top wide drawer: "Lamb" Also so inscribed on side and back of third drawer. In graphite on bottom of an additional drawer: "Lamb" Painted on back: "38.28"


Probably made for a member of the extended Lamb family; 1977, given to the Museum by Miss Aimée and Miss Rosamond (Accession Date June 9, 1977)
