Lent to the Museum by Mrs. Sam Slater, October 17, 1900; later owned, about 1906, by Enid Hunt Slater; transferred to the estate of Louisa D. Hunt, by Enid Hunt Slater, executrix of her will, November 3, 1913; on loan to the Museum until its gift in 2000.
