Traditionally owned originally by Lt. Gov. William Dummer (1678-1761) of Massachusetts; passed to his sister Anna (Mrs. John Powell) and descended in the Powell family to Mrs. E.R. Warren, who lent the table to to the Museum from 1922 to 1946 and from whom it was acquired, December 1946 for $900 (Accession Date December 12, 1946)
