Cast gold alloy effigy pendant rendering a raptorial bird, likely an eagle with splayed talons. A spiral at each side of the bird's head may represent earflares. A vertical ring at back of the neck allows for suspension.

Provenance

With Walter Channing Wyman, Chicago(?), by 1922; to MFA, February 1922, purchased as part of a group of 67 pieces for $5,000.
